Jon Browning
In 6th grade, Jon first became interested in graphical design after being invited into graphics club by North Pocono’s art teacher Mr. Wittel. Once in the club, Jon began designing school signs, graphics for cars, logos, and creating the set for the school plays. After three years in the club, his older brother Jeff first introduced Jon to Photoshop 7.
Through this program he began designing CD covers for the many live concerts he downloaded. Because he only listened to one main band, Dave Matthews became the theme of most of his works. His work began simple and began to advance through time. His CD covers, which used to contain simple photo manipulation, now contained more design. After installing Photoshop CS2 Jon began making signatures for online gamers and different clans he was intouch with.
With the sudden explosion of myspace.com, Jon soon got the idea of making his own backgrounds. He continued using his theme of Dave Matthews but soon began using artists such as Ryan Adams, Jeff Tweedy, and Matt Nathanson. He soon began making backgrounds for his friends and for his home computer. Recently he has been making backgrounds and signatures of movies and TV Shows such as Star Wars, Spiderman, 24, and the Office.
Jon is currently entering his junior year at North Pocono High school, and is apart of the graduating class of 2009.
